Brunch Experience at Lapita – Kalea Restaurant

There’s this Polynesian themed hotel inside Dubai Parks and Resort. Finally had the chance to visit it when I booked a brunch for my family a few months back.

The place is appealing and has a different vibe from other hotels. It follows its Polynesian theme in every little detail, from landscape to lighting down to the decorations. The hotel has distinctive designs everywhere and you will definitely get the holiday vibe once you enter the premises.

We went to this restaurant called Kalea, they offer brunch every Friday between 1-5, maybe a little late for a “brunch”, but it is what it is.

There is an indoor and outdoor seating in this restaurant, being an outdoor person that I am (literally) we chose outdoor seats (tip: never do this during summer in Dubai).

The ambiance was so vibrant and the overall presentation of this restaurant was beyond my expectation for a supposedly simple farewell brunch. Aside from that, there’s also a wide variety of food from Rice, noodles, seafood, grilled meats, bread and desserts. You can never run out of option. I also observed that they put so much effort into the food appearance that everything is worth taking a snap.

One of the highlights of our day was definitely the overflowing drinks from the bar. They can make all the drinks you can think of. You name it, they got it.

It doesn’t stop there, after having a sumptuous meal, we were given access to the pool. By the way, this photo sums up Dubai Winter. The weather is perfect and the view is just exceptional.

This is the best brunch I’ve been to so far. Let me also mention that the staff were all very warm and professional. They were so attentive and pleasant. They even gave us a complimentary farewell cake, talk about going extra mile.

I would recommend this place for family gatherings or if you just want some alone time, away from it all (no judgement here). Love the place, love the food, love the price too, very affordable!

Almighty God You are so kind

In the Age of Grace, God became flesh as Jesus Christ; in the last days, God has become flesh once again and expressed the word, which fulfills that "He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches". Have you heard the word of Almighty God? Have you seen that the Eastern Lightning has issued from the east and shining in the dark world? He has begun the Age of Kingdom, bestowed the salvation and sent down disasters to awake mankind. Are you still looking up at a certain cloud? Have you investigated the official website of the Church of Almighty God? Have you downloaded the App of the Church of Almighty God? Have you watched the gospel movies and persecution movies of this church? They're shouting "the groom has come", shouldn't we go out and welcome the Lord? The Lord's second coming is the greatest hope of Christians, if we miss it, it will be a regret forever!
