Dusit Thani brings Thai hospitality into the futuristic city, it’s is an iconic 5-star hotel located at Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road. You’ll definitely not miss out seeing this beautiful building along Dubai’s main business hub.
The reception was huge, colorful and will give you a glimpse of Thailand decor. From the seats, the color scheme down to the staff uniform.
Checking in to the room was a breeze. The staff we’re definitely one of the best I encountered. They were all efficient and customer oriented, making sure customer satisfaction is prioritized at all times.
I requested for a high floor and the skyline view was captivating. If this isn’t the best view in the city, I don’t know what is. Just look!
I love their deluxe room. It is surely unforgettable. With it’s huge bed, comfortable headboard, gorgeous interior, 5-star standard furniture, this definitely is a perfect place for a stay-cation.
The bathroom is huge and luxurious, with separate cubicle for the shower, and all the basic amenities guest may need.
Dusit Thani was built in 2001, and I must say that the hotel is well maintained and the facilities are fully updated, though not so modern compared to the newly built hotels in the city, still, this has a certain charisma to it. It’s timeless and definitely has gorgeous interior.
Gym and Pool
Of course there is a gym and a pool for R and R. I love the pool because it’s partly shaded so it’s not very hot even in the afternoons, the gym on the other hand is fully functional but I am not fond of it’s layout though.
The pool deck is on the 35th floor. The view from above is just awesome!
There’s a bar on the ground floor famous for it’s view, that’s why they probably named it “The View”. Disappointed though, because as you know Dubai summer is so extreme that they had to make the outdoor seating air conditioned, therefore blocking the view of Burj Khalifa.
Shisha starts at hundred bucks (Watermelon + mint recommended!) they also serve alcoholic beverages, desserts and light meals. The music we’re very chill and relaxing. Perfect vibes for the holiday mood.
As a morning person, I’m always excited for breakfast. Japanese, Indian and Chinese cuisines served in the morning? Yes ma’am!
24th street definitely offers something unique. They also serve pastries, sweets and a specialty coffee so strong that I had to request a second cup. Who doesn’t love a strong cup of coffee?
It was check out time once again. Glad I requested for a late check out which they granted until 2 PM. Such a pleasant stay.
Thank you Dusit Thani! This is another memorable stay added to my favorite Dubai hotels.
